James J. Carr, 86, died at 10:55 AM Sunday, Feb. 25, 1996, in Murdock Manor, where he had been a patient for three months. Born March 6, 1909, son of James J. and Elfreda Carr, living all of his life in Lafayette. He was in the last class to graduate from St. Ann High School, and he attended Case College in Cleveland, OH. He married Mabel E. Blake on May 30, 1937, in Crawfordsville ; she is deceased.
Mr. Carr was an electrician at Peerless Wire for 38 years, retiring in 1974. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and a 50-year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 668.
