Charles Lewis Wright Jr., who was fondly known as ‘Chuck' by his family and friends, began his journey on earth, January 4th, 1972 at University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. He was the only son of the late Charles Lewis Wright Sr. and Margaret M. Jones [Wright]. As a child, Charles attended and was baptized at Good Samaritan Baptist Church in Augusta, Ga. and also was a member of the youth Choir.

He graduated from Patch American High School; where he also played varsity football, on June 3, 1990 in Stuttgart Germany. He was an outgoing person that enjoyed life and traveling. By the age of twenty he had traveled to Paris France, London England, Somalia, Aruba, Spain and Italy.

Charles departed this life on February 20, 2014. His final hours were with his family surrounding him with love, prayer and singing. He took his last breathe in the arms of his mother, while his sister sang Amazing Grace and his oldest daughter reading the Lords' prayer. Charles rededicated his life back to the Lord in the days preceding his departure from this earth. He is now peacefully resting in the loving arms of his savior Jesus Christ.
