Misty Dawn Baggs, 36, of Palatka, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center following an extended illness. A native and lifelong resident of Palatka, Misty was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Satsuma. Misty loved life and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her brother, David S. "Davy" Baggs, III, a cousin, Kimberly Renee Baggs, grandparents, David S. Baggs, Sr., Ray Bohanan and Carl and Jennie Moody.
She is survived by her sons, Levi Adkins, Dalton Goss and his father Aaron Goss, her parents, David and Anna Baggs, sister-in-law, Dawn Baggs, her grandmother, Mary Baggs, nieces, Harlei Baggs and Karlei Baggs, nephews, Jackson David Baggs and Ben Allen Baggs and numerous aunts and uncles.
Services will be at 3:00 P.M. Monday, March 3, 2014 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Bro. A.O. Johns, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Bostwick Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-3 P.M. at the funeral home.
