MAHAFFEY - Funeral services for Victor Clark Johnston, 81-year-old Mahaffey resident who died at 7:30 a.m. Monday in the Clearfield Hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Russell Lininger Funeral Home, Curwensville.
The Rev. Bruce Dimmick will officiate and interment will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park. Friends may call from 2 p.m. Wednesday until hour of services.
Mr. Johnston was born in Greenwood Twp. Sept. 13, 1892, a son of Harry B. and Minnie (Wiley) Johnston. He attended the Bells Landing Baptist Church, was a member of the Golden Age Club and past member of the Greenwoood Grange.
He was employed as a Carpenter for the North American Refractories Co. until his retirement in Feb. 1958.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Lena Bell in 1973, his parents, a brother Leedill and a sister Mrs. Della Hipps.
These sons survive, Carlton, Riverside Calif.; Harold, Garrettsville, Ohio Walter, Burbank, Calif; and Francis, Mount Union. Four Grandchildren and two Great-Grandchildren also survive as do these sisters and brother.
