Robert Scott 'Bob' Gardner, 81 of Middleburg, FL passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014. Mr. Gardner was a native of Atlanta, GA and moved to Middleburg 42 years ago. He retired from AT&T after 35 years and later retired again from Orius Communications after 20 years. Mr. Gardner served in the US Army, was a member of the St. Giles Presbyterian Church and a member of the Paso Fino Horse Association. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Betty H. Gardner, children, April Tiller, David (Cathy) Gardner and Scott Gardner, one sister, Joyce(Bruce)McCorkle, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

On March 7 2014 memorial services with military honors by the U. S. Army were held at Jacksonville National Cemetery and later that day another service was held at the St. Giles Presbyterian Church in Green Cove, FL. Arrangements were under the care of Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery, Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 2335 Sandridge Road,
