ODESSA Eleoweese Moss Elder, age 86, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013, in Odessa, TX. She was born in Dallas, TX, on February 19, 1927, to John and Virgie Moss. Eleoweese graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas, TX, in 1946. She was a longtime local business owner for many years in Odessa, TX. Her family built, owned and operated the Rivera and the Marquee West Apartments for many years in Odessa. She touched many lives in early Odessa. In 2009, Eleoweese retired and just enjoyed her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Eleoweese was very generous to everyone she met. She loved to travel and had lived and visited many countries during her lifetime. She had an infectious laugh that will never be forgotten by her loved ones and the people that lived around her. Eleoweese was preceded in death by her beloved parents, John and Virgie Moss. We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to everyone for your prayers, offerings and presence at this very difficult time. A special thanks to Glory Catchings and Zulema. A special thanks to Starla and Hospice for their wonderful care. The family would like to thank Johnny Touchstone, also. There will be a graveside service for Eleoweese Elder at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Johnny Touchstone officiating.
