NICHOLSON - William Wayne Adams, 74, died Friday, February, 21, 2014, at his residence.

He was born in Fulton County, the son of the late, Johnnie Mell and Julia Love Moore Adams. He was a retired mechanic and of the Methodist denomination.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Stephenson Adams, Nicholson; sons, Jeffery Wayne Adams and Tony Adams (Lisa), all of Nicholson; sisters, Sylvia Hollifield and Linda Barnett (Mickey), all of Nicholson; brother, Dennis Adams (Susan), Danielsville; grandchildren, Ashley Adams, Athens, Amy Adams, Nicholson, Devon Adams, Jefferson, and Lauren Healan (Michael), Jefferson; and one great-grandchild, Reiley Healan, Jefferson.

Funeral services were held Sunday, February 23, at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Mr. Tommy Stephenson and Dr. David Bowen officiating. Interment was in Howington Cemetery.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
