Mrs. Calvin Wilson.
Anna Isabel, youngest daughter of Charles and Mary (Gregory) Wilcutt, was born in Des Moines, Iowa, November 6, 1864, and departed this life at her home in Oskaloosa, Iowa, June 27, 1933, shortly after noon at the age of 89 years, 7 months and 20 days.
She was united in marriage to Michiel Calvin Wilson on March 24, 1880, and to this union six children were born, all of whom are living; her husband preceeded her in death, March 24, 1931. Mrs. Wilson was a staunch believer in Christ, having been converted forty-two years ago, and lived as a consistent member of the Weslyan Methodist church until eight years ago when she, with her youngest daughter, joined the Free Methodist church of Knoxville.
The deceased was a kind and devoted mother to her family. All that loving hands and medical aid could do was done but the Death Angel called her home, leaving to mourn her departure ~ Hazel Angelic and Daisy Arminta Wilson of Oskaloosa, Dora Ellen Robinson and Mary Isabel Robinson, both of Knoxville; two sons, Ora Calvin of Marshalltown, and William Norvil of Knoxville, eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Arminta Pope, of Knoxville, and one brother, Will Wilcutt, of Joplin, Missouri, with hosts of distant relatives and friends.
The remains were brought to Knoxville where funeral services will be held this (Thursday) afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Free Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. C.O. Monroe, local pastor. Interment will be made in Graceland cemetery besides the remains of her husband.
