Bertuccis Rejoice, For Many Reasons
The Bertucci family had plenty to celebrate Friday. It was the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Bertucci, 3120 Delachaise Street, the eighth anniversary of their son, John, and his wife, and the birthday of John 34 years old, and his brother Charles, 41 and Frank 38.
Mr. Bertucci, 72, and Mrs. Bertucci, 65, were married in the San Fernand Church, Ustica, Italy, in 1892. They came to America 43 years ago. Mr. Bertucci was employed by the New Orleans Public Service, Inc., for 32 years before being retired on pension 10 years ago. The family celebrated the anniversaries and birthdays at the home of E.J. Bales, a son-in-law, Jefferson Parish.

BERTUCCI - At Hotel Dieu on Friday, February 4, 1944 Peter Bertucci, beloved husband of Rosalie Caserta, father of Charles, Frank and John Bertucci, Mrs Ernest Spiechler, Mrs Elliot Bales and the late Salvador Bertucci and Mrs Rosina Polito, brother of the late Frank Bertucci, survived by 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, age 72 years, a native of Ustica, Italy and a resident of this city for the past 54 years.
