Everet Anderson, age 79, of Pikeville, TN died Saturday February 8, 2014. He was a member of Griffith Church of Christ and a member of the International union of Operating Engineers.
Everet was preceded in death by parents Rufus and Josie Belle Anderson; brother A. J. Anderson; sister Dorothy Jean Anderson; grandson Cameron Slate Marsh. He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years Margaret Anderson, Pikeville; children Joyce (Russell) Simmons; Bobby (Sharon) Anderson; Toddy (Junior) Lewis; Jackie (Mitchell) Marsh, Dwayne (Phyllis) Anderson, all of Pikeville; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters Pauline (Denton) Henderson, Pikeville, and Ruby Lee Smith, Chattanooga; brothers Alton, Edward (Wanda), Johnny (Rhonda) Anderson, all of Pikeville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 pm CST in the funeral home chapel with Minister Jeff Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery.
