Milton "Pete" Britton Jr., 85, entered eternal life January 29, 2014. He was born April 30, 1928 in Washington, Wilkes County, GA. Preceding him in death were his parents, Milton Britton Sr. and Willie Mae Britton; his wife, Lou (Anthony) Britton; son, Anthony Britton; 5 brothers and 1 sister.
He retired from PPG Industries, Carlisle, and was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. His special interests included gardening, baking, watching wrestling, the Weather Channel and the Philadelphia Eagles; foremost, he loved his family.
Surviving are his daughters, Marilyn Britton-Donley, Angela Britton-Harvey, Cynthia Britton, Jodi Britton-Roman; and son-in-law, Charles Donley, all of Harrisburg; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; sister, Thelma Britton of Steelton; brother, Joseph Britton (Yvonne) of Harrisburg; and other relatives.
Mr. Britton's life will be celebrated at 12 Noon, Thursday, February 6th, at his church, 1201 N. 17th Street, Harrisburg, with viewing from 10:30 A.M. to 12 Noon. Interment will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Professional services entrusted to Wallace Funeral Directors. wallacefd.com
