Mary K. "Kathy" Anthony, 61, of Mechanicsburg, formerly of Marysville, passed away Friday, January 31, 2014 in Harrisburg Hospital. Kathy was born in Harrisburg on January 23, 1952 the daughter of the late Mary "Kate" (Eichelberger) Anthony and Donald W. Anthony, Sr., of East Waterford, PA.
She was employed by the Daigaku Honyaku Center of Mechanicsburg. Kathy enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and was a skilled cake decorator. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her grandchildren. In addition to her father she is survived by her children, Terrance J. Swartz, II, of Enola and Nicole R., wife of Dr. Erik Hernandez, of Harrisburg, grandchildren, Arissa Katelyn Ward, Allisyn Cathleen Swartz, Nicholas Kenton Ward, Matthew Jacob Swartz and Emily Reese Swartz. Also two sisters and four brothers, Elizabeth Sommers, Marysville, Donna Kmiecinski, Lebanon, Thomas L. Whalen, Fresco, TX, James E. Whalen, Lewisberry, Donald W. Anthony, Jr., Hummelstown and John R. anthony, East Waterford. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mabel J. Speck.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, February 7, 2014 in the Glenvale Church of God, 1970 New Valley Road, Marysville. with Pastor Carolyn V. Sites officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill. A viewing will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Friday in the church. Arrangements are entrusted to the Michael J.
