He was 49 years old. Gabe was born on March 10, 1964 in Dublin, Ireland to Marie and Gabor Mero. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Yonkers, NY Class of 1982.

Gabe received his law degree from Pace University School of Law in 1990 and was an experienced litigator. He is survived by his wife Laura (nee Quirk) Mero and daughter Ava Mero. Gabe is also survived by his brothers Erick Mero and Marc Mero.
