Ira L. "Bo" Abshire, 50, of 8311 Maryland Ave., Marmet, died Monday, Dec. 5, 1988 in General Division, CAMC, after a long illness.
He was a former employee of Mining Progress and Metz Exxon.
He was a member of Marmet First Baptist Church.
He was a Navy veteran.
Surviving: wife, Gladys Hartman; son, Calvin of Marmet; sisters, Mary Graley and Betty Johnson, of Ashford; Violet Clay of Sylvester, Verla Harrison of Nellis, Verna Mae Gould of Stone, Ky.; one grandchild.
Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet, with the Rev. Pete Grandel Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.
