October 20, 1952 - January 22, 2014
Diana L. Crockett Conner, 61, of Interlachen passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Shands at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
Diana was born in the former Putnam Memorial Hospital in Palatka to Charles and Pheby Crockett. She had been a lifelong resident of Putnam County, growing up in Palatka and later living in Interlachen. She was a 1970 graduate of the Palatka Senior High School. Before declining health she had enjoyed bowling and had been a member of a local bowling league. She was a loving and caring person who loved her dogs and was a good businesswoman. Most of all she loved her family and missed her husband very much. She was a Baptist.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Lawton Conner.
Surviving are two brothers, Mark Crockett of Hollister and David Crockett of Green Cove Springs; a nephew, Mark Crockett, Jr. of Gainesville; a niece and spouse, Crystal Crockett and Jeremy Carnes, both of Ocala; a great nephew, Dakota Crockett of Ocala; and a great niece, Brianna Crockett of Ocala.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 26th at the Masters Funeral Home in Palatka. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 27th at the funeral home with Pastor Eddie Humes officiating. Burial will follow in the Pineview Cemetery in Interlachen.
