Lowell R. Albrecht 90 of Stockton died Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the Stockton Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. He was born March 17, 1923 in Pleasant Valley the son of the Late Christopher & Ida (Kehl) Albrecht. He was a 1941 graduate of Stockton High School. Lowell married Betty Hubb on August 28, 1948 in Stockton.

He had worked with his father at Albrecht Produce and farmed and operated Albrecht Egg Farm with his wife near Stockton for many years. He was an avid Stockton Blackhawk fan and attended as many High School sporting events that he could. Lowell loved gardening and selling his produce at the area Farmer's Markets. He was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church.

Lowell is survived by his wife Betty and sister Wilma Lawton of Reo Rancho, NM, niece Marleen (James) Bower of Mt. Carroll and nephew Harlan (Lisa) Krohmer of Machesney Park. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter Andra Irene and an infant sister.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Hermann Funeral Home in Stockton where visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday. Burial will be in the Ladies Union Cemetery in Stockton. A memorial fund has been established for the Wesley United Methodist Church and the Stockton Athletic Boosters.
