Jerry Arthur Olson was born on April 15, 1936 to John Alfred Olson and Edna Pearl Hatfield-Olson.

Jerry was the youngest of eight children; he had five brothers and two sisters who have all preceded him in death. He was married to Rosy Isabelle Bacon-Olson on December 14, 1957 in Iowa and shortly after moved to California and remained there for the rest of their days.

He was preceded in death by his wife Rosy Isabelle in April of 2009. Jerry passed away on January 15, 2014 at the age of 77. He is survived by his five daughters. Teresa, Penny, Deanna, Sherry and Kelly; two sons in -laws, Danny and Dave, nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Service for Jerry will be held on Thursday, January 23rd at 1:00 p.m. Rose Hills Memorial Parks' Memorial Chapel. Grave side service will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers the family request is that you make any contribution from your heart to the American Lymphoma/Leukemia Society.
