Born in Greenville County, he was the son of Richard Crenshaw and Ellen (Kelley) Burns.
Mr. Crenshaw was a U.S. Marine and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his brother, Matthew Crenshaw of Greenville; stepfather, Phillip Burns of Greenville; grandparents, Theron Kelley, Judy Kelley and Robert Crenshaw, all of Pickens; and a stepgrandmother, Josie Burns of Greenville.
He was predeceased by a grandmother, Jane Crenshaw.
Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2005, in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home, with the Rev. Shem Durham officiating. Burial followed at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens.
