Nellora Grace Redick was born September 17, 1891, in Denison, Grayson County, Texas to parents, John Harris "J.H." Redick and and Mary Mason Vestal.

Nellora's siblings are: James Porter "Porter" Redick; Lucy Prudence Redick Ford; Cleon Redick, who died in 1891; Jonas Rude Redick, who died in 1938; James Madison "Matt" Redick; and Millard Fillmore Redick.

Nellora is the granddaughter of Cleon Redick (Reddick) and Lucy Harris and James Madison Vestal and Martha Jane English, all of Texas.

Nellora's father operated a farm, first renting, then, owning the land that encompasses from Texoma Parkway and Highway 82, in Sherman, Grayson County, Texas, to Texoma Parkway/Armstrong Avenue and Iron Ore Creek in Denison. The family grew fruits, vegetables, and cotton and were productive and successful farmers.

Nellora's father, John Harris "J.H." Redick, passed away in 1893. Nellora's father is buried beside her brother, Cleon; her Redick grandparents; and her father's brother and Nellora's uncle Jonas Rude Redick, who died in 1873, at Shannon Cemetery, Dripping Springs Road, in Sherman.

Nellora married John Fryar (Fryer) Glover September, 18, 1917, in Hill County, Texas.
Nellora and John bought a home located at 530 West Heron Street in Denison. John worked as a fireman and an engineer for the MKT Railroad, while Nellora maintained the home and cared for their children. Their son is Dale Redick Glover, born in 1921, and their daughter is Nellwyn Grace Glover Wells, born in 1929.

The family was active in the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), in gardening, canning, raising poultry, cooking, and entertaining family and friends. Nellora was active in the Order of the Eastern Star women's non-profit organization.

Nellora's mother, Mary Vestal Redick, for whom Nellora cared as her mother's health failed, passed away in the Glover home in 1923. Mary Vestal Redick is buried alongside her Vestal parents and siblings at West Hill Cemetery, Sherman.

Nellora loved all peoples, was very resourceful, and hilarious, always looking on and commenting on the bright side of life. She loved for her grandchildren to spend the night with her, to eat ice cream with her, and to watch Fritz Von Erich on Saturday Night Wrestling, traditions her grandchildren continue.

Nellora's husband, John, passed away in 1962.

Nellora Grace Redick Glover, for whom her daughter, Nellwyn cared, passed away January 16, 1975, in Nellwyn's home in Garland, Dallas County, Texas. Nellora and John are buried alongside each other at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Daughter, Nellwyn Glover Wells, and her husband, Ogden Wells, are buried beside them. Son, Dale Redick Glover, and his wife, Edna Mae Steele Glover, are buried very near them in Cedarlawn Cemetery.

Nellora has many extended Redick, Vestal, Glover, and Wells family members in Texas and throughout the U.S., who love and remember her.
