Dr. Ramona Lee Dunckel, 64, of Greenville,died Friday afternoon, July 13, 2012, at her home.

Mona earned her B.A. in history and her M.A. in teaching English at Michigan State University.
Mona earned her PhD in Rhetoric and Writing at Bowling Green State University. While in her doctoral program, Mona studied in Tours, France and also at Oxford University. Her dissertation was: "Re-Vision: A Rhetorical Analysis of Change in the Holocaust Memorial Center".

She was contributor to the book of essays _C.S. Lewis: Apologist, philosopher, and theologian_, edited by Bruce Edwards and published by Praeger Press. She also presented many scholarly papers in conferences across the United States.

She was a longtime professor at Bob Jones University, chair of the Social Studies department there and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:45 pm at The Mackey Mortuary with the service to follow in the chapel at 4:00 pm. Pastor Gary Reimers will officiate. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the General Fund at Baptist Mid-Missions, 7749 Webster Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44130.
