Meyer Rix. Charles married Wanda
Kintzel in 1909, then the two moved
to Galva where Charles worked in a
butcher shop. He later worked in
sales for the Percival Company,
which handled butcher supplies. In
1927, the Rix family moved to
Storm Lake. He later sold equipment
independently. In 1974, Charles
retired at the age of 85.
He was preceded in death by his
parents; wife; two sons - Harlan
and Margaret Rix, Hopkins, Minn.;
and Elwood and Dorothy, Spencer;
one daughter - Maurine Tjossem,
Paullina; two grandsons; and four
great-grandchildren.
