Myrtie May Updegrove, 89, Springfield, died Sunday morning in Chastains Nursing Home, Buffalo, after a long illness.

A resident of Springfield since 1956, Miss Updegrove had been on evangelistic worker since 1930 in the states of Oklahoma, Kansas, Louisiana and Missouri.

Services will be of 7 p.m. today in Greenlawn North Chapel with Barry Bartley and James Brown officiating. Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Dixon Cemetery, Dixon. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today in the funeral home.
