The Reverend Doctor James Drake will be presiding. David is survived by his parents, David Gerson, Sr. and Nancy Bartholomew Boyette of Cary; brother, and niece. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.
