He was the oldest living member of the Lakeside Methodist Church of DuBois, where he also belonged to the Hustler's Class.
Mr. Uren was a printer at the Gray Printing Company.
He enjoyed hunting and coin collecting and was an avid reader. He also collected indian artifacts.
He is survived by a son, James Uren (Boise,ID); one daughter, Carol Oswalt (DuBois); three granddaughters, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, one sister, three brothers and one stepbrother.
