Mrs. Willie Fay Pye Lee, age 77, died Tuesday morning at her residence. Born in Register, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Harry Pye, Sr. and Bertha Kerby Pye. Fay was a 1954 graduate of Brooklet High School. Following her graduation, Fay married Reggie Lee and the two moved to El Paso, TX where they resided until returning to Brooklet in 1958. She was a homemaker and a stay at home mother for many years. She later worked with Brooklet Drug Company for 13 years, Farmers and Merchants Bank for several years and ended her bookkeeping career when she retired from Ken's IGA following many years of service in 1992. Fay later worked as a caregiver to the elderly for several years.

Mrs. Lee was a member of Brooklet United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Molly Lee Sunday School Class and the Prayer Shawl Ministry. She was a also a member of Brooklet Birthday Club.

Fay enjoyed playing Canasta and socializing with her friends as they gathered twice a month to do so. She also enjoyed knitting, reading, yard work and walking her two miles every day. Fay was a dedicated Atlanta Braves fan.

Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Reggie Lee; a daughter, Pat NeSmith; and five brothers, Melvin, Lenton, Bernie, Bruce and Brooks Pye.
