Mrs. Etta George Temples 88 of Rockmart died in a local hospital November 27, 1975.
She was born in Polk County, December 25, 1887, the daughter of Mrs. Sara McDuffie Cash and the late Mr. John Cash.
She was a member of Emmanuel Bapt Church, Winston.
She was preceded in death by her husbands Mr. O. L. George; and later Thomas Edward Temples.
She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Cleveland Turner of Rockmart and Mrs. Robert (Susie) Martin of Villa Rica; six sons: H F of Carrollton; Watson of Bremen; Rev Earl and Rev Rayford both of Villa Rica; Earnest of Winston and Clarence of Cusetta; one sister: Lora Adams of Villa Rica; 10 grand 36 great and 18 great greats.
Funeral service was held in the chapel of Jones and Son Funeral Home, Villa Rica with burial in Powell Chapel UMC cemetery. Revs Lewis Camp, Robt Ploof and Gene Rainwater officiated.
