Tracy Glen Brown, 40, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 11, 2008.
Anyone who knew Tracy knew that he could always be found on the golf course. When he wasn't golfing, he loved watching sports and cheering on his three favorite teams, the Dallas Cowboys, Miami Hurricanes and the Chicago Cubs. He loved to tell jokes and get a laugh out of people. He loved surrounding himself with his family and friends. He was in the car business for many years. His love for laughter will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ryne Trace Brown; and his great-niece Shelby Marie Cribbs.
Surviving him are his parents, Miriam and Glen Brown of Satsuma; the love of his life, Pepper Anderson of Palatka; son, Matt Brown of Palatka; daughter, Dallas Brown of Palatka; honorary daughter, Ally Anderson of Palatka; brothers, Tim Brown (Melonie) of East Palatka; Troy Brown (Kelly) of Carol Stream, Ill.; sisters, Teresa Humes (Randy) of Pinellas Park; Tania Coker (Syd) of Macomb, Ill., Twila Griffis (Dennis Parker) of Satsumna, Tami Crews (Billy) of Palatka; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, many friends, golf buddies and a wing man he loved dearly.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka. Final tee time will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka with the Rev. Eddie Parcher officiating. Burial will follow at Bostwick Cemetery.
