Nina Mae Jenkins, 74, of Gastonia, died Friday, December 20, 2013 in Fort Myers, Florida.

She was born July 23, 1939, in Robbinsville, NC, daughter of the late Collis and Gladys Holder Lequire.

Nina was the owner of Econo Tax and Bookkeeping Service and a member of Modena Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending summers in the mountains and winters in Florida. She enjoyed spending time with family. Nina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, Kenneth James Jenkins; son, Marvin J. Jenkins; daughter, Marcia Ann Erpenbeck and husband Bill; brother, Hardie Lequire and wife Lee; grandchildren, Tony, Amanda and husband David, Matthew and great grandson, Dylan.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia. The family will receive friends Friday, January 3, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Townson-Smith Funeral Home, Robbinsville with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm. A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11:00 am at Sawyers Cemetery, Robbinsville.
