Son of Edward & Martha Ellen Wright Whiteman. Married to Charlotte Sears. Was a life long furniture salesman.

Arthur married Charlotte Sears in 1903, when he was 14 years old. When his father died, his mother placed him and his 3 siblings in The Cornelia Memorial Orphan's Home.
