Joshua Ford was the eldest son of 13 children from Revolutionary War Veteran Joshua Ford (Memorial #42774789) and Celia Bisbee (Memorial #42774822). He married Mercy Paris Sturtevant. Mercy's younger sister Hannah Bradbury Sturtevant (Memorial #87678406) married Joshua's younger brother Obadiah (Memorial #87678329).
