Obit - Russell D. Mix Dies In Fire
New Albany - Russell Dale Mix, 62, died Thursday of last week in a fire at the Columbia Hotel in Denver, Colo., where he lived. He was a native of Leavenworth.
Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Dieckmann Funeral Home. Interment was in Cedar cemetery at Leavenworth.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Nona Treador, of Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Kingsley and Mrs. Pansy Gilbert, both of Cincinnati, and six brothers, Alva E. and Jesse Mix, both of New Albany; John Mix, of Detroit; Elmer Mix, of Verga, Minn.; Theodore Mix, of Louisville, and Arthur Mix, of Knightstown.
