TRACY ROBERT JAMES TRACY, passed away Thanksgiving morning, November 28, 2013 at age 92 at his residence at Independence Village in Aurora, Ohio. Jim was born in Toledo, Ohio, August 15, 1921 to the late Estelle McVay Tracy and Robert Gregory Tracy. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years and their five children, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren all of whom will miss him greatly.

Jim graduated from the University of Michigan with both a Bachelor and a Masters degree and was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He served 3 years in the Service during WWII. He was a true representative of "The Greatest Generation". Jim began his career with Standard Oil of Ohio, having assignments in Cleveland, Portsmouth and Columbus. He retired in 1982. Jim was a devoted member of The Church in Aurora and enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. He was an avid stamp collector and a huge fan of the "big band era'.

A public memorial service will be held at The Church in Aurora on Monday, December 16 at 1:30 p.m. following a private burial service at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery the morning of the same day.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be considered to The Church in Aurora, 146 South Chillicothe Road, P.O. Box 244, Aurora, Ohio 44202.
