Faith Janine Maness Brewer , 52, of Penn Laird, passed away Friday morning, Feb. 8, 2013, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.
Faith was born in Asheboro, N.C., on Nov. 11, 1960, and was a daughter of Margie (Morgan) and Lester Maness of Asheboro, N.C., who survive.
She worked as an accountant at Great Eastern Resort in McGaheysville and graduated from James Madison University. She loved quilting, vacationing at the beach and gardening. She was a very loving, caring, Christian, mother and wife.
On Sept. 23, 1989, she was united in marriage to Keith Brewer , who survives.
In addition to her husband and parents, Faith is survived by two children, Sara Elizabeth Brewer and Levi Remington Brewer , at home; a sister, Annette Watson and husband, Donnie, of Sophia, N.C.; three brothers, Jennings Maness, Timothy Maness and Tommy Maness, all of Asheboro, N.C.; and mother-in-law, Doris Brewer of McGaheysville.
A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at Mount Olivet Brethren Church in Pineville with pastor, Dr. Fredric Miller, officiating. Private entombment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Harrisonburg.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Johnson Funeral Service in Grottoes.
