Lapacz, Theodore H.

Theodore H. Lapacz, 90, of Green Bay passed away peacefully on Friday, December 26, 2003. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 9, 1913, to the late Joseph and Rose (Krawczyk) Lapacz. On October 26, 1935, he wed the love of his life, Dorothy Stefaniak of Navarino. Together they shared the simple joys of life: raising family, building a house and a home, travel, camping, fishing, dancing, and just being together. Following 30 years as an accomplished sheet metal craftsman, including wartime shipbuilding in Sturgeon Bay, he and his wife spent winters in Florida and summers in their beloved garden growing raspberries and other delights for the neighborhood. His concertina is quiet now.

Ted is survived by his wife Dorothy; his 3 children, Marilyn Bussink of Silver Spring, Maryland, JoAnn And James Rauscher of LaRue, Ohio, Gary Lapacz of Green Bay; his 5 grandchildren; his 6 great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters and their spouses, Marie and William Pryzbylski Gillett, Edward and Genevieve Lapacz, Cecilia Stoller, all of Green Bay, Helen Nitka, Sheboygan Falls, Lillian Kush, Anthony Lapacz, both of Green Bay, Clara and Dr. Bernard Mlzevia, Denmark, Frances and Conrad Lotto, Green Bay, Alexander and Neda Lapacz, Hollywood, Florida, Stanley and Jane Lapacz of Lakewood.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers; Martin, Louis and John, 2 infant siblings, one son-in-law Bernard Bussink, and 3 brothers-in-law Vernon Stoller, Edmond Nitka, Frank Kush.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave.; on Sunday (TONIGHT) from 5 to 7 p.m. Friends may also call on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Arthur J. Danks officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park.

Special thanks and appreciation are extended by the family to San Luis Medical and Rehabilitation Center for the great care and attention given to Ted.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to San Luis Medical and Rehabilitation Center.
