A.; Elected third lieutenant: wounded at Chickasaw Bayou December 28, 1862 and granted sick leave; wounded badly at Vicksburg and captured July 4, 1863, paroled July 8, 1863; last roll dated September 12, 1864 shows absent, paroled. They moved to Miller County Missouri about 1866 then to Poke County, then move to Washington County, Arkansas about 1869. From there they moved to Benton County, Arkansas and returned to Loudoun county Tennessee about 1876 where they spent the rest of their days.
