Mary Ann Lockard Smith, 82, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 in Georgetown Memorial Hospital. She was born October 13, 1926 in Jacksonville, Florida, a daughter of the late Edwin William Lockard and the late Frances Louise Williard Lockard. She was a resident of Jacksonville for 78 years before moving to South Carolina. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Smith; two sons, Robert E. Smith, Jr., and David Allen Smith. Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughter, Mary Ella Lee (Andy); sister, Martha Rosenquist; eight grandchildren and eight great-grand- children. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in Oaklawn Cemetery with Rev. Tommie Darm officiating.
