Eddie "Pee Wee" Joseph Delaune, a retired bus driver for Orleans Parish public schools and a security guard, died Sunday of pancreatic cancer at Metropolitan Hospice. He was 72. Mr. Delaune was born in New Orleans and lived in St. Bernard Parish for the past 35 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include two daughters, Kim Marie and Tiffany Ann Delaune; two sisters, Louise Murphy and Lurie Cannon; and a grandchild. A mass will be said today at 2 p.m. at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St. in Chalmette. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
