Emma was baptized on the 18th September 1836 at the Foleshill Independent Chapel, Coventry.
The 1881 Census states that Emma, 45, was living at 91, Little Park Street, Coventry, with her father, John, 73, a retired ribbon manufacturer, her mother, Eliza, 67, and her brother, Charles, 31, a woollen draper, the family had one female general servant.
The 1911 Census states that Emma, 75, was living at 87, Holyhead Road, Coventry, living with her were her sisters, Amelia, 65, and Clara White, 58, a widow, and her daughter, Ethel Clara White, 30, who worked in the musical profession. Neither Emma or Amelia ever married.
Emma died at 87, Holyhead Road, aged 80.
