Henry Franklin Bailey, Jr., 66, of Orange Park, FL, passed away on November 12, 2013. Henry was born on April 12, 1947, in Madison, FL, to the late William Henry Bailey, Jr. and Kathleen Laura (Driggers) Bailey. Henry retired from the U.S. Army with 20 years of service, and as a federal employee, with 23 years of service. He earned a Master's of Public Administration degree from Valdosta State University. Henry was an Elder at First Presbyterian Church in St. Marys, GA. He enjoyed fishing and traveling. Henry was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy A. Bailey; his sister, Lula Mae Carney; and nephew, Ben Dryden. Henry is survived by children, Sarah A. Bailey and Filiz (Robb) Morrow; granddaughters, Meagan and Makayla Morrow; special friend, Wendy Meadows; sisters, Josephine Lane, Betty (Donald) Scott, Weta Johnson and Loretta (Lester) Baxter; nephews, Anil (Pinar) Ozguner, Artun Ozguner, Douglas (Lucia) Lane, Mark (Yolanda) Lane, Buddy (Kim) Scott, Jackie Strickland, Pete Strickland and Bud Edwards; nieces, Sharlene Lane, Connie (David) Myers, Mary (Leonardo) Estevez, Debbie (Roger) Collins, Kathy (Mark) Cooley, Judy (Tim) Purvis, Lori Smith and Karen (Bill) Stewart; and sister-in-law, Yildiz (Ibrahim) Ozguner; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 11:30 a.m., with a visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of service, at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, (904) 264-1233. Interment will immediately follow the service at Jacksonville National Cemetery. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11:30 a.m.at First Presbyterian Church in St. Mary s, GA.
