MUNLEY John Joseph Munley, 90, passed away on June 23, 2013. He was born in Scranton, PA and received his BA and MA from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA. Mr. Munley had two successful careers: one in the US Navy as a CPO flight instructor and a second in the Norfolk, VA school system as a high school biology teacher. After retirement he and his wife were avid golfers and traveled to many places. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lois Beggs Munley; his son, John J Munley Jr.; 3 grandchildren: John J Munley III, Benjamin T. Munley and Samantha J. Munley; sister, Flora Evans; niece, Carol of Binghamton, New York. Committal services will be held 10:30 AM, Friday, July 5, 2013 at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville with military honors. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be to Children s Home of Wyoming Conference, 1192 Chenango Street, Binghamton, NY 13901.
