Mitchell Parker age 84, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013.
Mitchell was a native of Perry, FL and has been a longtime resident of Jacksonville, FL. He was a Army Veteran and a member of the Carpenters Union, Masons and he enjoyed Bee Keeping, fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Shirley Parker, four step-daughters; Kay O Brien, Jackie White (Pat), Carol Hazouri (Tommy) and Teresa Lawrence (Keith), two brothers, Jimmy and Richard; three sisters, Elmina, Gloria and Willoby; 6 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held, Sunday, November 17, 2013 at 2:00pm in the chapel of FRASER FUNERAL HOME, 8168 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, FL with Rev. Terry Gore officiating followed by interment in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
