Donald Lee Bell, 69, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000, in Salt Lake City. He was born October 7, 1931, to Lawrence Albert and Florence Perrin Bell in Moundsville, West Virginia.
He married Sandra Snider May 31, 1977, in the Provo LDS Temple. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving the Army, and later joined the Air Force. He was stationed in several states, and in Germany as a German-Russian translator.
He tutored at the Missionary Training Center, and taught elementary education in Lindon and Grove Crest Elementary in Pleasant Grove. He was an excellent cook and loved supplying neighbors with baked goods, especially cinnamon rolls.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra, American Fork; daughters, Lisa (Barry) Graff, Orem; Kim (Paul) Lewis, American Fork; 6 grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara (James) Cone, Atlanta, GA; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Vernon Bell.
Funeral services were Saturday, December 2, 2000, in the American Fork 20th Ward, 825 East 500 North. Burial was in American Fork Cemetery, under the direction of Anderson Sons Mortuary.
