Nannie Mae Wood Wiley, 85, of 129 Glen Orchard Lane, Berryville died Wednesday April 18, 2001 in Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Wiley was born May 24, 1915 in Jefferson County WV the daughter of Homer Lee and Mary Margaret Tomblin Wood. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Mission Presbyterian Church, Jefferson County.
She married Thomas Leon Wiley on April 21, 1947 in Jefferson County.
Surviving with her husband are five daughters, Janice Mercer of Bluemont, and Sandra Everhart, Mary Broy , Carol Whitmore and Tammy McDonald all of Berryville, four sons Herbert Chamblin of Killen, AL, Kenneth Chamblin of Winchester, Lewis Wiley of Berryville and David Wiley of Boyce, a sister Ruby Whitmore of Charlestown, WV. 29 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Three daughters, Shirley Chamblin, nine Chamblin and Delores Chamblin are deceased.
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Enders and Shirley Funeral Home, Berryville with the Rev. Harold E. Thornton officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Garden, Martinsburg, WV.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Omps, Denny Pitsnogle, Tim Wiley, Kevin Wiley, David McDonald and Jim Conley.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial may be made to John H. Enders Fire and Rescue, 9 South Buckmarsh Street Berryville, VA 22611.
