Red moved to New York in 1954 and married Dolores Bogdovitz in 1956. Red and Dolores raised three children, Nolan Jr. (Bonnie), Michael J. and Chris J. (Christina) in Niagara Falls, New York.
Red was self-employed in the construction industry. Red enjoyed entertaining as a clown (Emmett Kelly was his favorite), woodworking including making canes and crosses, writing short stories and just making people happy.
Red was the proud Grandfather of seven Grandchildren and five Great-Grandchildren.
Services were held at Mt Carmel Church in Niagara Falls, New York.
