Bamberg - Mrs. Lillian Hutto Smoak, 69, died Sunday. Born in Bamberg County, she was a daughter of the late Sidney and Victoria Hill Hutto. She was a member of Spring Branch Baptist Church. Surviving are son, Sidney and Thomas Smoak, both of Bamberg; daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Golden of Tallahassee, Fla.; and brothers, Ralph Hutto of Bamberg and Theron Hutto of San Diego. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Spring Branch Baptist Church, with burial in Southend Cemetery. Thompson Funeral Home of Orangeburg is in charge. © The State, Columbia, SC, 9 Jan 1989
