Frances A. Aber age 96 of Ashland, OH., passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Hospice House of North Central Ohio. On December 22, 1916 in Ashland, OH., Mrs. Aber was born to Clyde and Stella (Ausnerel)Tucker. She had been a resident of Ashland all of her life devoting herself to Aber's Truck Center and Aber's Towing and Crane Service along with her family. Mrs. Aber attended the First Baptist Church in Ashland.
On May 15, 1943 Frances married Miles R. Aber who preceded her in death June 22, 2000. She is survived by three sons: Dan (Georgene) Aber, Allen (Ruth) Aber, and Jerry (Jenny) Aber all of Ashland; one daughter-in-law, Karen Aber of Ashland; 11 grandkids; 16 great-grandkids; one great-great-grandkid; and one brother, Harry (Donna) Tucker of Ashland. Mrs. Aber was also preceded in death by a son, Larry Aber in 1996; one granddaughter, Stacy Aber; one brother, Paul Tucker; and one sister, Lucille Smurthwaite.
Services will be held 9:00 AM Monday, October 28, 2013 at Heyl Funeral Home, 227 Broad St., Ashland, OH., with Pastor Butch White officiating. Interment will be at Ashland Co. Memorial Park
