Mr. Willie Franklin Anderson, Sr., age 86, of Nicholls passed away Sunday, at the Coffee Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness. Mr. Anderson was born June 25, 1927 to the late Willie F. Anderson and the late Lera Taft Anderson. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Lee Anderson.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years Yvonne Sapp Anderson of Nicholls, GA, two sons, Willie Franklin Anderson, Jr., and wife Judy of Hazlehurst, GA, Andy Anderson of Nicholls, GA, two half sisters, Charlene Prescott, and Lera Bell Merritt both of Douglas, GA, three grandchildren, Jason Anderson of Ambrose, GA, Ashley Anderson of Hazlehurst, GA, and Andy Jaydin "Jo" Anderson of Nicholls, GA, several nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
Graveside services and interment was on Tuesday, at 11:00 A. M., at the Douglas City Cemetery.
