Lucile was united in marriage on November 26, 1925 in Belvidere t Mr. George Ackerman and she spent her years as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Lucile was a member of the Hinckley First United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir. She taught Sunday School and belonged to the United Methodist Women.
Survivors include two daughters, Beth (Dewey) Wallis of Sandwich, Illinois and Marjorie (Robert) Larsen of DeKalb, Illinois; nine grandchildren; 17 great great grandchildren; her son-in law Amuel Royer, of Greenville, Illinois; as well as many friends who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter Joyce Royer; one grandson and her sister.
Funeral services were held at the Hinckley First United Methodis Church on Friday, December 17, 1996, with the Reverend Paul Gerardy officiating. Internment is in the Greewood Cemetery, Hinckley, Illinois.
