Emmett Augustus "Buddy" Haynie, 70, of Savannah, died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2005 at Candler Hospital. He was born in Newnan, Georgia, and was a Salesman for Burroughs Heating and Air Conditioning Company. He was a member of Savannah Christian Church, Chatham Artillery, the Fenian Society, the St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee, and the Home Builders Association. He was actively involved in the US National Guard, 118th and 230th Field Artillery Battalion, known as the "Jasper Greens" and "Republican Blues". He was a member of the Exchange Club of Savannah, an Eagle Scout, and a Mason. He is survived by his wife, Children and Grand-Children.
