Leonard worked in the U.P. Copper mines with his brother, Alfred. Played harmonica and mandoline. He served in WW I and married a nurse, Iva May Felder on Sept. 4, 1926. He worked at Chevrolet Motors 40 years as plumber. His farm in Russelville, MI is now part of the Richfield Recreation Park. Liked to hunt & fish. His nephew Bruce (WWII Vet.) named his youngest son after him.
